Something Old, Something New.
So I had this clock for a while now, er quite a while cos I remember getting it around my freshman year so it has beeeeeeeen a while! Ok, and after many battery changes and all and probably getting better and more interesting clocks, I kept it tucked away until recently when I stumbled across it and thought to make it more useful to me.

DIY - Fabric Notepad II
Hey!!!
So as you know already, I did a fabric covered notepad when I newly began this blog, check on it Here, for those teeny weeny details I didn't include in this post. When it comes down to it, it's basically the same thing though, major difference is, it's for a snapper with which you can close the book with sorta like a diary oh plus I used fabric stay here so that the fabric cover is thicker. Trust me, you'll love it!

DIY Petal Brooch
It's one of those days when I get really restless and my palms just get sweaty and begin to twitch lol! This happens most times, when I come across things I love or aspire to do, or stuff I'm just plain excited about (you know that feeling of when you see Victoria Beckham or Michelle Obama rocking some insane outfit or shoes or bags? It's kinda like that feeling only, when I see most pieces I go 'I'm totally making that!' More than I say 'I'm so buying that!' Lol, I do buy stuff don't get me wrong, I just get a rush when I create stuff myself).
Careful though! this is one colourful post!

The Iconic DVF Wrap Dress hits 40!
Print- check! wrap dress - check! Flattering silhouette - double check! These basic reasons make me a huge fan of DVF and her infamous wrap dress. Recently the wrap dress hit the forty year mark and boy was it celebrated!
Wrap dress designer Dianne Von Furstenberg now 67, alongside her famous friends celebrated the opening Friday of "Journey of a Dress," which is an exhibit held to honour the timeless style she introduced in the early 1970s: A flattering, easy-to-wear dress that fastens with a simple tie at the waist.
"This is the first time that I ever honored the wrap dress, and she did so much for me," said an ebullient Von Furstenberg, wearing a black wrap dress with floor-skimming yellow kimono sleeves. "She made me famous. She paid for all my bills. And tonight we celebrate the wrap dress."
