Pin Tuck Detailling - The Diagonal Pintuck

Pintucks make for very fine and interesting detailing; so here's a moderately easy and quick way to create  a diagonal pintuck. Know this, you can use pintucks in beautifying  your clothes, slim fit your blouses, shirts, dresses etc, throw pillows/cushions ans lots more!

more on the other side...

YOU'LL NEED:

Fabric
Pins
Sewing machine
Hand needle/thread
Pressing iron

HOW:
Here's my fabric...

with your pins, make tiny, vertical pleats

make some more, as many as you would like, depending on the allocated space you want to cover on your fabric or clothing...

with your hand needle, sew together, two pleats working from the under side. DO NOT position your neeedle this way or you would have to tack on the surface which would make your finished work look messy.

 tack them together neatly

keep alternating you 'tacks' in a diagonal shape...i.e. down-top-side-side

and you're done!

that's all folks!

xoxo,
Onnari.
